1. Service Description

OneLine is a digital journaling application that offers:

• Writing and storage of journal entries with End-to-End Encryption (E2EE).
• Mood tracking and analytics.
• AI Coach for personal reflection (powered by Groq).
• Generative storytelling, audio, and images from your entries (powered by Google Gemini).

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials.
• You are solely responsible for safeguarding your encryption passphrase. We cannot recover your data if you lose this passphrase.
• You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create on OneLine. We do not claim ownership of your journal entries.

By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license strictly to store and display your content to you (in its encrypted form).

When using AI features, you grant us a temporary license to process the relevant content through our AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq) to generate the requested output.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the rights of others.
• Deploy malware, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.

6. AI Services & Output Waiver

Our AI features are provided strictly for entertainment, brainstorming, and self-reflection purposes.

• No Professional Advice: The AI Coach is not a therapist, doctor, or legal expert. It cannot provide medical diagnoses or crisis support.
• No Liability for Outputs: AI models (provided by Groq and Google Gemini) may hallucinate, generate offensive, or produce incorrect information. You agree that OneLine is not liable for any actions, emotional distress, or decisions you make based on AI-generated content.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

You can delete your account and associated app data at any time through the app settings or our account deletion page.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING SPANISH AND EU LAW), IN NO EVENT SHALL ONELINE, ITS CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, emotional distress, loss of data, loss of encrypted keys, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party or AI service provider on the Service.
• Any unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure of your transmissions, encrypted data, or content.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims related to the Service exceed the amount you paid us to use the Service (which is currently zero). You agree that this limitation of liability represents a reasonable allocation of risk given the free, beta nature of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
